Our story

A family farm. A brewery. One place.

Obora was founded in 2015 on the Novák family farm near Tábor, in South Bohemia. Our hop field is within sight of the brewery. That closeness to our ingredients shapes how we think about beer: we care about where it begins as much as how it tastes.

  1. 2015

    The brewery begins.

The Novák family establishes Obora on its farm in the village of the same name.

  2. 2025

    Ten years of Obora.

A decade of brewing, with family ownership and a focus on ingredients and brewing craft.

  3. Today

    Four beers for export.

Two Czech lagers, an IPA and a raspberry sour introduce our brewery to new markets.
